In one sentence, Radioshift is a Tivo for radio. Using Radioshift, you can timeshift radio content, recording it and listening to it whenever you like. The key to Radioshift is its Radio Guide, enabling you to explore over 50,000 radio listings from around the world.

As you’re exploring, you can listen live to streams without worrying about the format of the stream – Radioshift supports RealAudio, Windows Media, QuickTime, and MP3 streams, all in one player. Better still, you can click to subscribe to audio right from the guide and have it automatically recorded for you, with no difficult setup. Radioshift records in the background and has your audio waiting for you whenever you want it.

While Audio Hijack Pro previously made it possible to timeshift radio content, Radioshift aims to bring recording to the masses, by making it a snap to accomplish. Radioshift builds on what we’ve learned developing Audio Hijack Pro and adds the powerful Radio Guide to create an incredible application for recording radio streams.

I did the update to my iPhone. A few things. It did not brick my phone although I did not unlock it. But it did wipe out all the Installer.App programs. Time to reinstall that and see if I can get my apps back. My iToner still works because as soon as I connected, it downloaded an update.

The best part, my Oakley O’ROKR stereo sunglasses work now! They support A2DP!!!

A press release came out today that states unlocked iPhone could have irreparable damage. Since the firmware is modified, any update that Apple releases to incorporate new features, could make the unlocked iPhone a brick. This unlocking also voids the warranty. Apple plans on releasing a new update to the iPhone firmware some time later this week. This update should not cause any problems with the application hacks out there but will effect unlocking.

I just added some new themes to my iPhone. Thanks to SummerBoard, now you can easily add themes using the AppTapp mod to your iPhone. SummerBoard is an extension to the iPhone’s SpringBoard. The one I am currently using is the Leopard theme which mimics the up coming release of OSX for the Mac.

I found a cool WordPress plugin called iWPhone which enables this site to be viewed on your iPhone in an optimized fashion. The iWPhone WordPress Plugin and Theme automatically reformats our blog’s content for optimized viewing on Apple’s iPhone. It detects the iPhone’s User Agent and serves up the content with the special theme only to iPhone visitors, all other browsers will view our WordPress blog with our current theme.

Here is a screen capture taken by my iPhone so you can see what it looks like on the iPhone:

This is just getting out of hand. BBspot is reporting that Steve Jobs will be offering a $7,000 rebate to early adopters of the 1983 Apple Lisa which sold for $9,995. A year later, the price was reduced to $2,495. “I’ve felt bad about people who bought the Lisa for a long time. Anybody who bought one of the first Apple Lisas really got screwed,” said Jobs. “Now that we’ve got some cash, I think it’s about time we made it right.”

What is next? Rebates for those who bought the 20th Anniversary Mac for $11,000 that later dropped to $1,900? Just amazing!

Its a joke folks! Ha Ha…  But maybe they should give Lisa owners a rebate :)

Apple may participate in FCC’s auction of wireless spectrum. This could give Apple the ability to provide wireless services without the use of AT&T. See the complete Businessweek article.
